Alfa Romeo will participate in TIMISOARA AUTO EXPO 2023, the main new car fair in Western Romania. The event will take place at Shopping City Timișoara between June 10-11, 2023.
The origins of Alfa Romeo date back to The Società Italiana Automobili Darracq, founded in 1906 in Naples, Italy. When economic hardship hit in 1909, company shares were acquired by the organization's managing director, Italian aristocrat Ugo Stella. In 1910, A.L.F.A. (short for Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili) was launched, financed by the same investors who had backed the previous Darracq company, and based in the engineering plants in the Portello district of Milan. A few years later, entrepreneur Nicola Romeo takes over the company and changes its name to Alfa Romeo.
