Ford Romania announces that the new Machang E-Mustang is now available for pre-orders in Romania, through the network of Ford dealers specialized in selling electric vehicles. The starting price is 42,800 euros (with VAT and the Rabla Plus bonus applied).
The Ford Mustang Mach-E is available with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, both versions can be paired with a standard or extended range battery. The version with extended range and rear-wheel drive has a range of up to 610 km measured in WLTP mode. The battery is charged from 10% to 80% in 38 minutes for the standard battery version and in 45 minutes for the extended battery version.
Mustang Mach-E, equipped with the rear-wheel drive system provides 269 hp in the version with battery with standard autonomy, respectively 294 hp in the version with battery with extended autonomy, a torque of 430 Nm and an acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h between 6.1 and 6.2 seconds.
In the all-wheel drive configuration, Mustang Mach-E delivers 269 hp in the version with battery with standard autonomy, respectively 351 hp, in the version with extended autonomy battery, with a torque of 580 Nm and an acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h between 5.1 and 5.6 seconds.
Technologies available on the standard model include a single-pedal driving function, Co Pilot 360 driver assistance system, SYNC vehicle personalization interface or artificial intelligence that learns drivers' habits over time to make appropriate navigation suggestions, and communication at the right time.
The distribution of the new Machang E-Must is made through the 17 Ford dealers specialized in the distribution of electric vehicles, which have implemented specific standards of sales and after-sales assistance.
Ford announced earlier this year that 100% of its range of cars in Europe will be emission-free, fully electric or plug-in hybrid by mid-2026. The full switchover to electric will be made by 2030.
