UKS Stamping, a subsidiary of the Ucler Kelepce group from Turkey, is building its first factory in Romania in Pitesti, where it will produce car parts and accessories.
For this purpose, the company obtained an investment loan worth 10.7 million euros to support the development of its first factory in Romania. The loan was granted by Garanti BBVA.
"We are pleased to be able to provide financial support to the UKS Stamping company, in its initiative to establish a production unit in Romania. Garanti BBVA's mission goes beyond the provision of financial services. For 25 years, we have been committed to stimulating the economic development of the country. And through this investment loan, we once again demonstrate our commitment to support investments that contribute significantly to the country's economy. The auto parts industry plays an essential role in Romania's economic landscape, creating jobs, encouraging innovation and supporting the country's evolution. In fact, Romania is a country with huge potential and we firmly believe that by supporting projects like this factory, we are helping to develop this potential", said Bilge Demirer, deputy general manager of Garanti BBVA.
The UKS Stamping company will inaugurate this year the first factory in Romania, in Pitesti, on an area of 4,800 square meters, with a team of approximately 80 employees. In the factory in Romania, UKS Stamping will produce, among other things, car seats and body components.
