Creation of business units, deployment of a global logistics strategy, acquisitions, recruitments ...
These are words that we read every day in the emails of employees of the ICAPE Group company.
The French company is shifting overdrive to support a significant increase in its business activities in the electronics industry. In a particularly complex economic context, ICAPE Group is ending the exceptional year 2021 and keeps building from there for its customers all around the world.

The pandemic that hit the world in 2020, whose repercussions are still present today, has been a real indicator of the health of businesses. Many structures have had to make difficult choices, but some have been able to adapt and offer solutions to satisfy more customers and achieve their growth objectives despite the obstacles. This is undoubtedly the case of ICAPE Group. This company, founded in France by Mr. Thierry Ballenghien in 1999, is specialized in the supply of printed circuits and electronic custom-made technical parts manufactured in Asia. It is deployed in more than 20 countries and currently has nearly 500 employees. This number is constantly changing because of numerous recruitments, acquisitions, and business-unit openings.

This strong momentum is built around a clear strategy and an ultra-flexible local application. During the COVID-19 crisis, the company's level of services was generally maintained thanks to an international organization and a particularly efficient remote mode of operation based on its large service office in China where purchasing, quality, and customer services are handled by more than 280 ICAPE Group's employees.

Modern tools have been put in place, such as virtual factory tours and audits by videoconference, or an interactive 3D show where the group's experts can meet their customers, or even technical webinars. These tools continue to be developed and used despite the resumption of physical exhibitions and the reopening of certain borders, to meet the many demands of their customers, seduced by these concepts.

This growth in activity is of course accompanied by increased production capacity and consequent logistics deployment. ICAPE Group works with a network of partner factories in Asia whose list, carefully selected and strictly controlled by a dedicated department in Asia, has been expanded by new production sites bringing the total to more than 80 suppliers specializing in printed circuits and electronic technical parts. This approved vendor list is monitored and readjusted daily to reach the highest level of quality and to maintain the supply chain of ICAPE Group's customers according to production capacities and the economic and political context. In terms of logistics, ICAPE Group has revised upwards its storage capacities and its offer with the deployment of new multi-service platforms in France, Germany, Sweden, and the USA to follow its commercial development, while offering a complete range of flexible and customizable solutions on transportation, storage and management, but also an efficient way to manage costs and delivery times for its customers.

All these actions brought ICAPE Group into an impressive growth dynamic. While the 2021 financial year is not yet over, the business volume recorded by the company greatly exceeds targets and the forecasts for the third quarter are already above the best years since the creation of the group. ICAPE Group is accelerating its opening and acquisition schedule around the world and several operations are underway such as the establishment of new subsidiaries in Northern and Eastern Europe, in Asia, and on the American continent.

In 2022, ICAPE Group intends to continue its development by placing the customer at the center of its concerns, with the stated desire to expand its network to provide an even more precise, fast, and efficient response.
