Energy prices declined 6.3% in March, led by natural gas in Europe (-16.5%) and coal (-9.8%). Non-energy prices eased 2.2%.
Food prices dropped 2.0%. Beverage prices changed little while raw materials eased 1.0%.
Fertilizer prices declined 3.6%. Metal prices dropped 3.2% led by nickel (-12.9%), tin (-10.7%), and zinc (-5.3%). Precious metals gained 2.7%.
