After rising more than 15% in the first four months of 2019, energy commodities retreated in May (down 2,8%). In fact, almost all major commodity groups fell, led by base metals (down 5,4%). Non-energy commodities fell 1,8%. Only grains registered gains in May, rising 2,5%.
