Commodity prices resumed their upward surge in May, rising across the board. Energy commodities rose 7,1% (up 35,1% since end-December) while non-energy commodities jumped 6,8% (18,8%). Agriculture commodities rose 5,7% (14,4%), fertilizers 4,4% (34,6%), metals and minerals 9,1% (26,2%) and precious metals 5,4% (1,6%).
