Volkswagen participates in TIMISOARA AUTO EXPO 2023

Volkswagen has announced its participation in TIMISOARA AUTO EXPO 2023, the main new car fair in western Romania. The event will take place at Shopping City Timișoara on June 10-11, 2023.

In full-year 2022, Volkswagen and Stellantis remained the largest carmakers in Europe while VW and Toyota were the top-selling brands.

In 2022, the Volkswagen Group was again the largest producer of passenger cars in the European Union (EU), Britain, and EFTA followed by Stellantis and the Renault Group. Volkswagen remained the top-selling car brand in Europe with 1,197,455 units sold according to ACEA.

Volkswagen announced plans to place a considerable focus on electric vehicles (EV), with a goal to launch at least 30 EV models by 2025 and have 20 to 25 percent of their total yearly sales volume (2-3 million) consist of EVs.

Volkswagen Touareg facelift

The new Volkswagen Touareg facelift has just been officially revealed. The German manufacturer's largest SUV gets a revised exterior, more technology on board, as well as petrol, diesel and electrified V6 engines.

The first thing that immediately stands out is the revised front end of the new Touareg facelift. We are talking here about the new headlights with a new light signature in the shape of the letter L and which receive IQ.Light HD Matrix technology.

It also has news inside, where the Touareg facelift receives slightly softer materials in the area of the armrests and in the central console, plus a central 15-inch screen for the Discover Pro Max multimedia system.
