Fiat will participate in TIMISOARA AUTO EXPO 2024, the main new car fair held in western Romania. The event will take place at Shopping City Timișoara on June 08-09, 2024.
In 2024, Fiat has officially presented no less than 5 new concepts based on a unique platform. All concepts will be transformed into production models, and the first will be launched this summer.
The Italian automaker has revealed 5 new concepts that herald future production models for the next 4 years. The new concepts are based on a unique, modular platform, and they will all be made into series models. In fact, the first concept will be transformed into a series model in July 2024 and will be followed by a new model for the next 4 years, until 2027.
All 5 new concepts are inspired by the first-generation Fiat Panda model and are represented in the form of the most popular body variants. Also, all models will be available in versions with thermal, hybrid and electric engines.
The 5 models will also include materials that are more environmentally friendly and thus give up polluting materials such as chrome, alloys, leather and even the foam inside the seats.
The first concept, which will also be the first series model, is simply called the City Car. This is a modern reinterpretation of the first generation Fiat Panda, but it is much larger in size and has a body with a futuristic design. Fiat says this concept has a design inspired by the famous Lingotto building, the former Fiat factory with a test track on the roof.
The second concept is a Pick-Up and is the successor to the Strada, a model sold in South America. In fact, the Fiat Strada is even the best-selling car on the Brazilian market. The series version of the Fiat Pick-Up concept will also be available in Europe.
The concept with number 3 promises to be a sporty one. Fiat currently doesn't have a performance model in the range (we're not including the Abarth models here), but that's set to change with the upcoming production version of the Fastback concept. The new Fastback concept is considered to be the successor of the old Fiat Fastback and Tipo, two very successful models in Brazil and the Middle East and Africa respectively.
The fourth concept is the Fiat SUV, or Fiat Giga-Panda, as the Italian manufacturer also calls it. Finally, the fifth concept is the Fiat Camper and it will be a future production model ready for adventure.
