NVIDIA and Hyundai Motor Group are expanding their collaboration to accelerate innovation in autonomous vehicles, smart factories, and robotics through a new NVIDIA Blackwell-powered AI factory.
Building on their strategic alliance, the two companies are entering a new phase — moving beyond software adoption to jointly develop core physical AI technologies. Their collaboration will span AI development for mobility solutions, next-generation smart factories, and on-device semiconductor advancements that strengthen Hyundai Motor Group’s long-term capabilities.
As part of the initiative, Hyundai Motor Group and NVIDIA will enable integrated AI model training, validation, and deployment powered by 50,000 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs. Supporting the Korean government’s efforts to build a national physical AI cluster, both partners will also work with public stakeholders on a $3 billion investment to advance Korea’s AI ecosystem.
Key developments include the establishment of an NVIDIA AI Technology Center, Hyundai Motor Group’s Physical AI Application Center, and regional data centers. These initiatives will promote knowledge exchange with NVIDIA’s engineering teams and help nurture the next generation of AI talent in Korea.
“AI is transforming every industry, especially transportation — from vehicle design and manufacturing to robotics and autonomous driving,” said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA. “Together with Hyundai Motor Group, we are building intelligent cars and factories that will define the future of the multitrillion-dollar mobility sector.”
“Deepening our partnership with NVIDIA marks a pivotal step in our AI journey,” said Euisun Chung, Executive Chair of Hyundai Motor Group. “We are laying the foundation for a robust AI ecosystem in Korea — one that fuels innovation, develops talent, and secures global leadership in AI-driven mobility.”

Hyundai Motor Group’s NVIDIA Blackwell-based AI factory will power every phase of innovation — uniting in-vehicle AI, autonomous driving, factory automation, and robotics within an intelligent, interconnected ecosystem. NVIDIA’s computing platforms — DGX™ for AI training, Omniverse™ and Cosmos™ for digital twins and simulation, and DRIVE AGX Thor™ as the AI “brain” — form the backbone of this transformation.
The partnership also enables the creation of smart, software-defined factories using NVIDIA Omniverse Enterprise, allowing Hyundai Motor Group to deploy digital twins for predictive maintenance, robotic integration, and fully autonomous production lines. In parallel, Hyundai Motor Group is testing NVIDIA Omniverse and Cosmos on RTX PRO Servers to simulate real-world driving conditions, accelerating autonomous vehicle development.
Leveraging NVIDIA Nemotron™ and NeMo™, Hyundai Motor Group is developing advanced AI models to support over-the-air updates, intelligent infotainment, and adaptive comfort features — turning vehicles into continuously learning, personalized intelligent systems.
Through this collaboration, Hyundai Motor Group and NVIDIA are redefining the future of connected mobility and intelligent manufacturing, creating a unified AI-powered ecosystem that sets new standards for the global automotive industry.
