Energy prices jumped nearly 6% in July, led by natural gas U.S. (17%) and oil (7.8%). Non-energy prices rose by 0.7%.
Metal prices gained 0.4%, led by tin (5.6%). Precious metals increased 0.9%.

Comau and Fincantieri, two Italian world leaders in their respective markets, present the first result of their joint collaboration: MR4Weld (Mobile Robot for Welding) mobile robot, an innovative outdoor automation solution to improve quality, performance and well-being during labor-intensive welding activities. The European Union (EU), through CINEA, will grant Renovatio e-charge 9.5 million euros for the construction of 242 new high-power charging stations for electric vehicles in Romania.
The EXPAND-E Consortium will install a total of 2,100 charging points (150-350 kW) for light and heavy electric vehicles in over 450 locations across 22 EU member states from June 2022 to June 2025. The EU is financing this project with a total grant of 70 million euros, of which 9.5 million euros goes to Romania.

HELLA, the automotive supplier operating under the umbrella brand FORVIA, and the luxury car manufacturer Porsche, have, in close cooperation with other partners, launched the world's first high-resolution headlamp based on matrix LED technology. With over 32,000 individually controllable pixels per headlamp, it raises automotive lighting technology to a new level. The digital headlamp system SSL | HD is now available for the first time in the new Porsche Cayenne as optional extra equipment.

The most important upgrade on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 over the Z Flip4 is the larger cover display – moving up from the tiny 1.9” (512 x 260px) to 3.4” (720 x 748px) will enable Samsung to run apps on the cover display, not just basic widgets.
