Alfa Romeo continues its expansion in the premium SUV segment. According to Jean-Philippe Imparato, CEO of the Italian brand, Alfa Romeo is to approve the development of a future large electric SUV by the end of this year. Moreover, according to the British publication Autocar, the future model would be a rival for the Porsche Cayenne.

The Italian automaker has revealed 5 new concepts that herald future production models for the next 4 years. The new concepts are based on a unique, modular platform, and they will all be made into series models. In fact, the first concept will be transformed into a series model in July 2024 and will be followed by a new model for the next 4 years, until 2027.
